Razzouk Ambassador
Razzouk History
Seven centuries ago, the Razzouk family traveled from Egypt to Palestine for pilgrimage. While there, the Razzouk family took part in the ancient tradition of tattooing the religious pilgrims that would come to the Holy Land of Jerusalem.
Christian Copts in Egypt would mark their wrists with a small cross to grant them access to churches. Those without it would have difficulty entering the church for sanctuary; therefore, Christians would tattoo their family with the cross identifying them as Christians. The First Ambassador:
Vic Tamian
It was a great honor to be a part of the Razzouk family’s 700 years of tradition. I’ve studied in Jerusalem with Wassim Razzouk and tattooed the ancient Coptic Christian wood blocks and designs that have been used for almost a millennia. These Christian tattoo designs are still administered by the Razzouk family, and myself even today. Now, you don’t have to travel to Jerusalem to be a part of the tradition

Tattoos from Jerusalem
Thank you again to the Razzouk Family for making me the first ambassador, and an unofficial member of the family. I wish to continue the legacy of tattooing religious pilgrims, the history of Jerusalem, and giving new travelers the Victory tattoo experience. My collection of stamps are 1:1 replicas of some of the stamps in the Holy Land still used today.
